The Vet Centre, established in the early 1960s, is a vet club registered as Otamatea Vet Club Inc. Running as an incorporated society, we were established by a group of farmers who got together and formed a club. The Otamatea Vet Club started with one vet working out of a house at Maungaturoto and over the ensuing years grew to include the Waipu and Ruawai areas. This expansion has been achieved by a good team of vets and staff, overseen by a dedicated board of directors and with continued support from our customers. Still operating as the Otamatea Vet Club and trading as The Vet Centre Inc, we remain a well supported club, overseen by our executive committee who meet monthly to discuss and set policy.
When retiring due to 3 year rotation, executive committee members are either re elected or replaced by newly elected candidates. The GM is supported by a branch manager in each clinic, veterinarians, istration middle management, and support staff. Our clinics are well stocked for production and companion animal health needs and pet care products and our staff are trained to assist you with product choices and health advice. To become a member simply enquire at your nearest clinic for a membership application or use the link below to create an electronic enquiry.
Due to our longstanding relationships with many suppliers, we are able to bring fantastic offers to our loyal members

Vaccination is the only way to bear safe, effective long term care against tetanus. govt. When booking a vet visit please ensure that the animals are careful prior to vets arrival.
